Job DescriptionLocums | Urgent Care | Scheduled Clinical Hours | St. Louis, MO### Why This RoleHigh-volume urgent care with strong operational supportMultiple clinic locations across St. Louis metroFlexible scheduling with block shift optionsOngoing need with consistent shift availability### Assignment DetailsStart Date: ASAPEnd Date: OngoingCoverage Type: Scheduled Clinical HoursSetting: Outpatient Urgent CareSchedule: - Weekdays: 8a–8p (12-hour shifts) - Weekends: 9a–5p (may move to 12s)EMR: EpicPatients per Day: 36–48Credentialing: ~90 daysWill accept multiple providers: Yes### RequirementsBoard Certified/Eligible (within 5 years) in: - Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds (ABMS or AOB only)Residency trained (required)BLS (AHA)Must see both adult and pediatric patientsMust show 50 patient encounters in last 12 monthsComfortable with procedures and EMR (Epic preferred)Clean background and active license### Clinical DetailsUrgent care for patients 6 months+Procedures: - Suturing, I&Ds, splinting, wound care - X-ray and EKG interpretation - IV placementHigh-volume setting (fast-paced)Work with MAs, scribes, and rad techs (no RN support)No call, no inpatient responsibilities
