About The RoleThis position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. We cannot accept C2C, 1099 or employment sponsorship (e.g. H1-B) for this position.FDM is a global business and technology consultancy delivering client and industry driven solutions through our 5 core specialist Practices; Software Engineering, Data & Analytics, IT Operations, Change & Transformation, and Risk, Regulation & Compliance.FDM is seeking a Business Analyst located in Clifton to support a project in the financial sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 24 months but may be extended.This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week. Overview:Seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support data-driven initiatives with a strong emphasis on AI and advanced analytics. This role will work closely with business, data, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Partner with stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritize business and data requirementsSupport AI and data initiatives by translating business needs into actionable use casesWork closely with data engineers and product teams to deliver scalable solutionsAnalyze datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimizationCreate clear documentation, user stories, and process flowsFacilitate communication between business and technical teamsRequired Experience:3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in data or technology environmentsExposure to AI/ML concepts, data platforms, or advanced analytics initiativesStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience working in Agile environmentsPreferred:Experience within financial services or large enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with tools such as SQL, Python, or data visualization platformsExposure to cloud-based data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP)About UsFDM powers the people behind tech and innovation.
