Tier 1 Onsite Service Desk Technician
GENERAL SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled Tier 1 Service Desk Technician for a 3-month contract position with the opportunity to extend into full-time employment. This is an onsite role located in Bingen, WA.
The ideal candidate will provide responsive technical support for computer systems, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and deliver solutions efficiently. This role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach to resolve end-user issues effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide IT support for technical issues involving Microsoft core business applications and operating systems
Maintain clear communication with end users throughout the incident lifecycle—providing status updates and confirming resolution
Document all support activities and maintain accurate ticket records
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
To perform this role successfully, candidates must demonstrate the following competencies:
Technical Requirements:
Hands-on experience with cloud technologies: Office 365, Azure AD, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online
Working knowledge of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network infrastructure
Familiarity with basic networking concepts and troubleshooting methodologies
Professional Skills:
Strong interpersonal abilities including effective communication, active listening, and customer service orientation
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
Professional phone manner and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users
