Line Service Technician Part-Time

Perform various general duties necessary to maintain and enhance the safety and cleanliness of the facility. This will be accomplished by performing the following:Duties & Responsibilities:Wash aircraft exteriorVacuum and detail aircraft interiorAssist with aircraft movementAssist maintenance department when requestedAssist with wing-walking duties as requiredProvide shuttle service for passengers/crew as neededWash and detail member vehiclesPosition member vehicles under overhang before passenger arrivalOrganize member keys in dispatch officePurchase cleaning supplies pertaining to the cleaning of member vehiclesFill member vehicles with fuelGeneral building upkeepClean hangar floorsMaintain front entrance and ramp areas cleanMarshall arriving aircraft into rampAssist arriving/departing members with luggageRefill lobby refrigerator with drinksWash lobby windowsPerform snow removal dutiesPerform basic landscaping and maintenance duties, including spraying for weedsEmpty office recycle binsOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Basic computer skillsEffectively communicate through verbal, written and electronic meansEffectively interact with all levels of the CompanyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsWork under minimal supervisionWork varied shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays and on callAbility to receive and maintain airport security clearance to work on airport propertyEducation and Work Experience:* High school diploma or equivalent preferred;* Possession of a valid driver's license while maintaining a good driving recordPhysical Requirements:Move up to 100 pounds on an infrequent basisWork indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and climatesMedium to heavy work requiring prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouchingDrive automatic transmission vehicles; manual transmission preferredDocumentation Requirements:* Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license* Proof of eligibility to work in the USCompensation:Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to team members. Starting hourly wages for this position ranges from $15 to $24 /hour. Actual hourly rates are provided is dependent upon geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), relevant education, training and experience of the candidate.
