Financial Systems Change Analyst

FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ANALYSTThis role supports the delivery of finance transformation initiatives across the organization, helping to improve finance systems, processes, and ways of working. Acting as a bridge between Finance, Technology, and external partners, the position plays a key role in translating business needs into effective system solutions and ensuring those solutions are successfully implemented and adopted.The role combines project-based change delivery with hands-on system administration and operational support. It contributes to system enhancements, supports critical finance activities during peak periods, assists with integrations and acquisitions, and helps ensure finance systems operate in line with governance and regulatory expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze finance-related business challenges and develop practical system and process solutionsGather, document, and translate business requirements into clear functional specificationsSupport the design and implementation of changes to finance systems and processesCoordinate and support system testing activities, including user acceptance testingDevelop and deliver training materials to support adoption of new systems and processesWork closely with finance stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to deliver change initiativesBuild strong working relationships with technology and data teams supporting finance platformsSupport the ongoing operation of core finance systems, including acting as a finance system administratorProvide operational support to finance teams during critical periods such as period-end closeAssist with the integration of newly acquired entities and the migration of legacy data into new systemsSupport automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance functionCarry out additional responsibilities as required to support the effective operation of the finance functionGovernance and Compliance ResponsibilitiesSupport sound financial and operational controlsAct with appropriate consideration for customer interestsAdhere to applicable sanctions, financial crime, and regulatory requirementsFollow internal policies related to ethics, governance, and whistleblowingWhere applicable, support principles designed to deliver fair outcomes for customersSkills and KnowledgeWorking knowledge of finance operations within the general insurance sectorExperience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANASAC experience is a plusUnderstanding of financial operational and reporting processesStrong collaboration and communication skillsAbility to operate effectively in a hybrid working environmentEducationBachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferredExperienceExperience delivering finance systems or finance change initiativesDemonstrated experience working on projects or structured change activitiesHands-on experience with SAP in a finance systems or finance administration roleExperience supporting ERP implementations or enhancements, including process design, requirements definition, testing, and end-user training
