Warehouse Technician
A Day in the Life of a Warehouse TechnicianAs a Warehouse Technician, you play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by managing inventory and supporting distribution processes. Your day may include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment, as well as operating forklifts and other equipment to organize and maintain the warehouse.You'll ensure accurate inventory records, assist with audits, and maintain the readiness of our large loss fleet and restoration equipment. In our fast-paced environment, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach are essential to keeping everything operating efficiently and supporting the success of our restoration projects.Responsibilities: Support daily operations for equipment, consumables, and logistics across branches and jobsitesManage and maintain warehouse inventories, including monthly consumables and annual assetsFulfill outbound orders, assemble shipments, and staff laydown yards for Area Wide Events (AWE)Ensure warehouse safety, organization, and cleanliness through Lean 5S processesMaintain equipment standards, perform basic repairs, troubleshoot issues, and manage large-loss fleet readinessReceive, inspect, and accurately track inbound inventory; prepare reports and reconcile discrepanciesIdentify parts needs, manage orders, and advise on cost-effective inventory replenishmentTrain warehouse personnel on equipment maintenance and operational proceduresExperience & Education:2+ years in warehouse and distribution operations1+ year of hands-on experience in general equipment maintenanceCertification in Power-Truck Equipment OperationHigh school diploma or GEDFirst Onsite provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
