Insurance Coverage Attorney
Overview Our client is a rapidly growing international law firm with offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco. This opportunity allows you to work directly with the Managing Partner of North America on sophisticated insurance coverage matters for domestic and international insurers. The role offers full remote or hybrid flexibility for candidates admitted and in good standing in California.

Qualifications At least 2+ years of experience in insurance coverage, including coverage analysis, coverage opinions, and bad faith claims
Strong academic credentials with excellent research and writing skills
Experience with case management, drafting coverage opinions, pleadings, and handling motions
Admitted and in good standing in California (additional jurisdictions a plus)
Key Responsibilities Manage insurance coverage matters, including bad faith claims, from inception through resolution
Draft and review coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, pleadings, motions, and discovery with a high level of precision and advocacy
Take and defend depositions, including experts and key parties, and represent clients in hearings and motion practice in state and federal courts
Provide trial support, including strategy development, witness preparation, and trial execution
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy, assess risk, and deliver practical legal solutions
Communicate directly with clients, providing updates, legal advice, and strategic guidance while fostering strong relationships
Stay current on developments in insurance coverage law, incorporating industry trends into case strategy
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $175,000 – $220,000, depending on experience and practice group
Annual performance-based raises and discretionary bonus
