PBX OperatorThe PBX Operator is responsible for:
Answer phones in a pleasant and courteous manner.
Ensure that all prompt responses are completed.
Performs as concierge in most cases.
The PBX's primary responsibilities will include:
Answers inbound phone calls and directs to appropriate area.
Serves as an information agent for the guests.
Cheerfully attempts to resolve any guest issues through the use of a prompt response log.
Performs as a reservation agent or front desk clerk as needed.
Maintains organization of work area.
Maintains organization of faxes, mail and log books.
Handles all Owner/Exchange Guest Inventory Checklists ensuring that each is completed in a timely manner and submitted for completion.
Uses proper key control as outlined by the standard operating procedures.
Completes daily call around.
Completes daily welcome calls to all new arrivals.
Witnesses shift deposits as necessary.

Basic computer knowledge.

Basic phone knowledge.
Desire to learn.
Required education and experience:
Education High school diploma required.
Experience No previous experience needed.
