Patients trust us not only as caregivers but as partners in fostering the well-being of their children.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant based in Decatur, AL. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the clinic, such as assisting healthcare providers, performing routine medical tasks, maintaining medical records, and ensuring patient comfort and care. The Medical Assistant will also use medical terminology effectively, provide exceptional care to patients of all backgrounds, and contribute to maintaining an efficient and welcoming medical office environment.QualificationsStrong skills in Medical Assisting and Patient Care to support healthcare providers in delivering quality servicesFamiliarity with Medical Terminology to effectively communicate and document patient informationExperience working in a Medical Office, including taking accurate vitals, giving shots, and maintaining a professional environmentProficiency in maintaining accurate Medical Records and understanding of HIPAA privacy regulationsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Must be comfortable with working with children ages 0-18CPR certification and knowledge of basic first aid; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferredAbility to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team and adapt in a dynamic clinical environmentBilingual proficiency is a plus, especially SpanishExperience working with Office Practicum EMR is preferred
