Graphic Arts - Pre Press Position

Overview: Our pre-press department takes customer supplied pdfs and make print ready files to be printed. They review customer supplied files for accuracy and send proofs to customers. We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent graphic art skills, strong computer skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. Duties: - Review accuracy of customer supplied files - Process electronic files - Use software to preflight text files - Use supplied pdfs to create impositions for proofing and plating - Create required impositions to process files - Scan halftones on flat bed scanner Qualifications: - Graphic art experience - Ability to interact professionally with customers - Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe - Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners) and basic troubleshooting Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $25.65 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
