Application InstructionsBluff Mountain Adventures is currently seeking an ATV Guide. The General Application is used to fill positions within Bluff Mountain. Applications will be sent for review by Bluff Mountain. Please fill out all relevant information and be as detailed as possible. The submission of an application does not guarantee employment.Position DescriptionSummary/Job Description:The general application is used to fill different roles for Bluff Mountain. These roles consist of ATV trail guides, maintenance personnel, and office personnel. Please follow the instructions on the application and list all relevant information.Responsibilities:ATV:The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.Follow all the policies set forth by Bluff Mountain.Demonstrate personal proficiently in the operation of an ATV.Demonstrate leadership and courtesy in dealing with customers.Demonstrate the ability to train and instruct customers.Comply with all safety rules and procedures.Cooperate with co-workers and supervisors.Have an understanding of the mechanical workings of an ATV.Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance.Perform job in a busy and sometimes stressful environment.Work the time scheduled by supervision.Perform any or all duties as assigned by supervision.Maintenance:Follow all the policies set forth by Bluff Mountain,Demonstrate courtesy in dealing with customers,Demonstrate compliance to all safety rules and procedures.Demonstrate cooperation co-worker and supervisor relationships,Demonstrate competent understanding of the skills required for the jobPerform a daily inspection and preform preventive maintenance and routine repairsWork the time scheduled by supervision,Perform any or all duties as assigned the field supervisor.Office:Interacting With Computers - Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.Getting Information - Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates - Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.Performing Administrative Activities - Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships - Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.Processing Information - Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.Documenting/Recording Information - Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.Performing for or Working Directly with the Public - Performing for people or dealing directly with the public.Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work - Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.Making Decisions and Solving Problems - Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.Identifying Objects, Actions, and Events - Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.Identifying Objects, Actions, and Events - Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.Communicating with Persons Outside Organization - Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.
