Program Summary: We are looking for individuals with a general interest in volunteering for St Joseph Hospice. Direct and Indirect patient care opportunities available. Additional training and information will be providedLocations: In home, office, and communityKey responsibilities:Assist patients and families with day-to-day activitiesEncourage others to volunteer and get involvedImpact Goal: The intent of the program is to promote social connections and cultivate a sense of community and comfort.Qualifications:Comfort working with older adultsSociable and engagingFlexibility and patience patienceTime Commitment: 1-4 hours per monthBenefits: Obtain experience working with older adults, become a part of a community doing joyful work, cultivate new intergenerational friendships.
