Job Description & Requirements Neurological Surgery Physician StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $3104.00 - $3360.00 This facility is seeking a Neurological Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: 24 hour call coverage Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient Types of Cases: Primarily emergent/ urgent cases - External ventricular drain (EVD) placement, craniotomies/craniectomies for stroke/ trauma, bolt placement, spine trauma, emergent and urgent spine cases, shunt repairs/ placement.Vascular lesions are either treated endovascularly else transferred to Cleveland Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days Electronic Medical Record (EMR): My Practice Community Certifications Required: Board Certified or Eligible, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Licensure Required: Active Ohio license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Facility Location Nestled in northeastern Ohio, Akron boasts a variety of attractions and activities all year long.
