Job Title: Engineering Manager - Native AppsLocation-Type: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days/week) in Knoxville TN (Relocation assistance available)Start Date Is: ASAPDuration: PermanentCompensation Range: $180,000 - $200,000 annually relocation assistanceJob Description:Lead and scale the native mobile engineering organization, owning Android and iOS application strategy, delivery, and team performance.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Oversee Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) native app engineering teamsServe as domain owner for all native mobile applicationsPartner closely with Product to align roadmap, priorities, and deliveryLead, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior engineersEnsure high standards in code quality, architecture, and release managementDrive execution, remove blockers, and improve team health and performanceSupport CI/CD processes and release cycles across mobile platforms Requirements:Must-Haves:7 years of experience in software engineering, with strong mobile development backgroundPrior experience managing engineering teams (including managing managers preferred)Hands-on background in Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) developmentProven experience partnering cross-functionally with Product leadershipExperience overseeing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps)Nice-to-Haves:Experience in media, digital content, or consumer-facing mobile appsExposure to automation and quality engineering best practicesExperience scaling distributed or hybrid teams
