As a Software Engineer IV on the ERP Finance team, you'll design, enhance and maintain vital financial applications that support business operations and revenue objectives. Your technical skills will ensure Spectrum's finance systems remain reliable, secure and high performing, helping the Finance organization achieve greater accuracy and efficiency.How You'll Make an ImpactDesign, develop and optimize ERP financial software using Oracle and PL/SQL for system reliability and scalabilityIntegrate financial applications with other Spectrum platforms and data sourcesParticipate in Agile and Scrum processes to meet project goalsApply security standards and ensure compliance with regulations for financial systemsIdentify and resolve defects and integration issues in ERP applicationsLead code reviews, debug and test software, and estimate effort for new featuresMentor junior developers and support technical problem solvingWorking ConditionsOffice environment (Hybrid 4:1)What You'll Bring to SpectrumRequired QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience2+ years experience with database management systems, including Oracle and PL/SQL2+ years experience coding, testing and designing software for ERP or financial systems2+ years experience with software development methodologiesSkillsKnowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL and at least one additional major programming language or toolUnderstanding of environments, containers, cloud native development, APIs, data stores and software architecture for ERPAbility to analyze and resolve moderately complex financial system issuesFunctional negotiation skillsExperience presenting technical work to teams and leadershipProficient in English communicationAbility to apply company policies to resolve financial software challengesSkilled at breaking down ERP projects and meeting deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience4+ years hands-on experience with Oracle and PL/SQL in database management4+ years experience coding, testing and designing ERP or financial software4+ years experience with modern software development methodologiesExperience with Java, Spring, API Gateway and cloud native development (AWS preferred)We're committed to growing a workforce that reflects our communities, and providing equal opportunities for employment and advancement.
