This role is ideal for a professional with 5-7 years of hands-on laboratory experience in the food industry. The position plays a critical role in supporting product development and quality evaluation through advanced analytical testing, ensuring accurate data generation, and driving continuous improvement in analytical methods and lab operations.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine food analysis (e.g., moisture, pH, salinity, Brix, viscosity) with high accuracy and consistencyPerform and interpret instrumental analysis such as LC-MS, GC-MS, and texture analysisOperate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentsPrepare samples, reagents, and standards in accordance with established proceduresRecord, analyze, and present data clearly to support R&D and quality initiativesEnsure compliance with internal protocols, GMP, and laboratory safety standardsPartner with R&D teams to provide analytical insights for product development and optimizationLead or support troubleshooting of analytical challenges and method improvementsMaintain laboratory readiness for daily operations and audits, including organization, cleanliness, and equipment upkeepAssist in developing and refining standard operating procedures (SOPs)Required QualificationsAssociate degree or higher in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field5-7 years of relevant experience in food analysis or laboratory environmentStrong hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, LC-MS, or similar)Solid understanding of food analysis techniques and laboratory best practicesExperience with equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshootingStrong attention to detail and data integrityAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesEffective communication skills in English (written and verbal)Preferred QualificationsExperience in the food manufacturing or ingredients industryFamiliarity with GMP, HACCP, or other quality and safety standardsExperience supporting product development or customer-driven projectsExposure to method development or validationSkills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesHigh level of precision and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyStrong organizational and time management skillsEffective cross-functional communicationWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work on innovative food products and technologiesCollaborative and technically driven work environmentCareer growth and professional development opportunities
