Job DetailsDescriptionP&K Stone LLC is seeking an Haul Truck Operator to become a part of our team!The Haul Truck Operator is responsible for safe operation of heavy mobile equipment on site.Job ResponsibilitiesAll Equipment Operators are responsible for daily or pre-shift inspections on equipment, and for operating the equipment safely.The Equipment Operator has the responsibility of being able to operate mobile and heavy-duty equipment on site. Will perform clean-up work as necessary to keep tools, equipment, and working areas clean, orderly and safe.Must comply with company safety rules and regulationsAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Ability to be multi-diversified in performing other related duties such as maintenance/repair, and yard loading when neededAbility to understand, interpret, and execute instructions given in both verbal and written formRecognize potentially hazardous situationsAdhere to MSHA and plant safety rules and regulationsMust Wear proper safety equipment while on plant groundsMeet or exceed company safety standardsOther duties as assigned by managementQualificationsMust have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating heavy equipmentWork weeks exceeding 40 hours/weekKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesAbility to complete pre-shift inspection reportAbility to work scheduled shift hours and be flexible with scheduling, overtime and weekendsAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to communicate with others via a two-way radio.Ability to wear all required safety equipmentAbility to perform duties in a safe mannerAbility to read and interpret gaugesAbility to work in a TEAM environmentBilingual a plusPhysical RequirementsMust be willing to handle continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, climbing to a significant degree, and/or pulling of controls.Exerting up to 100 pounds of force.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate to employees/visitors, as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment.Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of timeMust be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controlsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule10 hour shiftDay shiftOvertimeWeekend availabilityEducationHigh school or equivalent (Preferred)License/CertificationDriver's License (Preferred)Work Location: Chico TX
