Job Title: EstimatorJob Location: Stone Mountain, GABase Salary: $70K-$110KRequirements: 5+ Years of Underground Utility Construction/Rehabilitation experience. Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator with experience in water, sewer, and utility rehabilitation projects. The Estimator will prepare accurate cost estimates for pipe, CIPP, storm, and other utility work, analyze bid opportunities, and support project planning to ensure competitive, profitable proposals. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction or utilities experience, strong knowledge of HCSS estimating software, and a proven ability to produce clear, timely bids for rehab and new-construction contracts.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates for water, sewer, storm, and related utility projects including pipe replacement and CIPP lining.Analyze project plans, specifications, and site conditions to identify scope, risks, and quantities.Use HCSS and other estimating tools to generate takeoffs, cost models, and bid proposals.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to validate assumptions, obtain pricing, and optimize project scope.Develop material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor cost breakdowns and maintain historical cost databases.Review and interpret contract documents, addenda, and change orders to assess impacts on pricing and risk.Prepare and present bid narratives, pricing clarifications, and value engineering opportunities to internal stakeholders and clients.Maintain bid schedules, track open opportunities, and ensure timely submission of proposals.Support post-bid activities including estimating for change orders, claims, and value engineering during construction.Continuously update knowledge of market trends, material pricing, and labor productivity for utilities and rehab work.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of estimating experience in construction with a focus on utilities (water, sewer, storm) and rehabilitation (rehab, CIPP) projects.Proficient with HCSS estimating software and common takeoff tools; strong Excel skills required.Working knowledge of pipe installation, trenching, CIPP liners, manholes, storm systems, and utility construction methods.Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports.Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.Valid drivers license and willingness to visit job sites as needed.BenefitsMedical VisionDental 401(K)BonusAnd More!  Email Your Resume In Word ToCharlie.Payne@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
