This role requires a tech-savvy training professional who excels at facilitating IT onboarding, conducting hands-on technical training sessions, and translating complex technical concepts into accessible learning experiences. The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with exceptional training delivery skills, can quickly learn new systems and software, and has the ability to adapt training approaches for diverse audiences from new hires to IT professionals. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to make technology training engaging and relevant.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery & Facilitation (Live and Virtual) Facilitate new employee onboarding sessions covering IT setup, system access, software applications, security protocols, and technology policiesDeliver technical training for the IT team on new systems, tools, processes, and best practicesConduct hands-on training sessions for various software applications, platforms, and technology tools used across the organizationLead special training events, workshops, and lunch-and-learns focused on technology topicsProvide one-on-one coaching and support for employees struggling with technology concepts or toolsAdapt training delivery style to meet the needs of different audiences, from non-technical employees to advanced IT professionalsContent Development & PreparationCreate training materials including quick reference guides, step-by-step instructions, job aids, and video tutorialsDevelop hands-on exercises and practice scenarios to reinforce learningUpdate and maintain training documentation to reflect system changes and software updatesBuild simple eLearning modules or video demonstrations for self-paced learning when appropriatePrepare training environments, demo accounts, and practice systems for training sessionsTechnical Support & CollaborationPartner with IT team members and system administrators to understand new technologies, updates, and changesStay current on HaloMD's technology stack, applications, and IT processesTroubleshoot basic technical issues that arise during training sessionsGather feedback from training participants to continuously improve training effectivenessCollaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and currentProgram CoordinationPartner with Training Coordinator to schedule and coordinate training sessions, including room setup, technology testing, and participant communications. track training attendance, completion, and participant feedback, and maintain training records and documentationIdentify training needs through observation, feedback, and collaboration with department leadersSupport the onboarding process by ensuring new hires receive timely and comprehensive technology trainingRequired QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, Instructional Design, or related field (or equivalent work experience)3+ years of experience in technical training, IT support, or similar role involving technology instructionStrong technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn new software, systems, and applicationsProficiency with common business applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Confluence, and other collaboration tools)Experience facilitating training sessions for groups of varying technical skill levelsExcellent verbal communication and presentation skillsPatient, approachable, and able to explain technical concepts in non-technical termsStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple training sessions and prioritiesComfortable working with technology and troubleshooting basic technical issuesSelf-directed learner who stays current with technology trends and toolsWillingness to travel occasionally to Dallas, TX office for in-person training sessionsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field5+ years of technical training experienceIT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, Google Certified, etc.)Experience with help desk or IT support rolesExperience training IT professionals on complex systems and toolsExperience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and tracking training completionBasic instructional design skills or familiarity with training development principlesExperience creating video tutorials using screen recording softwareStrong content development skills with portfolio of training materialsExperience in healthcare, technology, or corporate environmentsFamiliarity with Monday.com or similar project management platformsExperience training on specific systems such as CRM platforms, EHR systems, or enterprise softwarePerks & BenefitsHybrid in Dallas, and Remote options available within the USA and reliable high-speed internetMultiple medical plan options Health Savings Account with company contributionsDental & vision coverage for you and your dependents401k with Company matchVacation, sick time & Company paid holidaysCompany wellbeing program with health insurance incentivesWhat's Next?If you're ready to bring your skills and passion to our growing team, we want to hear from you!
