Salesforce Application ArchitectLocation: Lansing, MIPay Rate: $60–$65/hour (W-2)No C2C or Third-Party CandidatesPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Salesforce Application Architect to support enterprise modernization initiatives and ongoing operations for large-scale public sector systems. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions while ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and platform optimization.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, CI/CD implementation, Agile development, and enterprise application integration. This position requires strong technical leadership and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end architecture and technical design of Salesforce solutionsDesign scalable solutions leveraging:Sales CloudService CloudExperience CloudField Service Lightning (FSL)Conduct Salesforce org health checks and platform assessmentsParticipate in design and discovery sessions and promote Salesforce best practicesProvide technical leadership and mentorship to development teamsCollaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutionsLead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to validate solution feasibilityEnsure secure application development lifecycle (SADLC) practices are followedSupport integration of systems across agencies, vendors, and enterprise platformsOversee CI/CD pipeline implementation, automated testing, and release managementTroubleshoot complex system and performance issuesEnsure compliance with security, performance, and regulatory standardsSupport high-availability enterprise systems serving large user populationsRequired QualificationsSalesforce Certification (required)5+ years of experience with Salesforce architecture and development5+ years of experience working in Agile environments5+ years of experience gathering and analyzing business and technical requirementsStrong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesHands-on experience with:Salesforce platform developmentSQL and Oracle SQL performance tuningJava developmentWeb services and integrationsExperience with automated testing, branching strategies, and pipeline-as-codeStrong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead development teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting enterprise-level implementationsDatabase-related certificationsExperience with large-scale modernization or public sector systems
