This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of public accounting experience who can primarily assist with tax and client accounting, while also supporting audit, review, and compilation engagements as needed.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a collaborative CPA firm environment.Responsibilities· Prepare individual, business, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns· Manage accounting for multiple client engagements· Prepare journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and account reconciliations· Assist with month-end and year-end close processes· Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness· Assist with audits, reviews, and compilations as needed· Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve questions· Work with partners, managers, and team members to deliver high-quality client serviceQualifications· 2–3 years of public accounting experience preferred· Tax preparation experience required· Experience with audits, reviews, and compilations a plus· Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field· CPA license or progress toward CPA certification preferred· Strong communication, organization, and attention to detailWhy FBW?· Supportive, family-oriented culture· Hybrid schedule with flexibility· Opportunity to work across tax, accounting, and assurance· Stable client base and strong professional growth opportunities· Collaborative team environment where your contributions are valued
