Monthly Bonus Opportunity | Excellent Work-Life Balance Position: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)Join Anpex Health and be part of a mission-driven team delivering high-quality, patient-centered behavioral health care across diverse care settings, including SNFs, long-term care, assisted living, and telehealth.Position OverviewThe Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health services to patients across the lifespan in a variety of care settings. This role includes conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing and managing medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.The patient population includes individuals residing in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, independent living communities, inpatient settings, and private homes.The ideal candidate is compassionate, clinically skilled, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively while managing a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions in outpatient, inpatient, telehealth, and long-term care environments.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and mental health evaluationsDiagnose and treat mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, ADHD, and substance use disordersDevelop individualized treatment and medication management plansPrescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with state and federal regulationsProvide supportive therapy, counseling, and behavioral interventions as appropriateMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordinglyCollaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary teamsMaintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and coping strategiesParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance activitiesRespond to psychiatric crises and coordinate higher levels of care when necessaryParticipate in quality improvement and compliance initiativesEnsure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and organizational policiesEducation & ExperienceMaster’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited programActive, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licenseBoard Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)Current DEA registration with prescriptive authorityMinimum of 1 year of psychiatric/behavioral health experience preferredPreferred Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacologyExperience in inpatient, skilled nursing/long-term care, outpatient, or telepsychiatry settingsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyExperience with telepsychiatry platforms preferredKnowledge of behavioral health documentation and compliance standardsStrong organizational and time management skillsCompassionate and patient-centered approach to careWhy Join Anpex Health?Monthly Bonus Opportunities – earn more with a structured incentive programStrong Work-Life Balance – flexible, manageable schedule with no facility burnoutCompetitive Full-Time Benefits Package:Medical, Dental, Vision401(k)Unlimited CEU libraryLicense & certification reimbursementUp to 4 weeks PTOMalpractice insuranceSupportive, Clinician-Led Culture – collaborative and provider-focused environmentCareer Growth Opportunities – expand your expertise across behavioral health, primary care, and palliative careEqual Employment Opportunity StatementAnpex Health is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
