Production Supervisor

TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a Production Supervisor to lead operations across Sheet Metal Forming and Machine Operations/Tube Fabrication. This is a high-impact opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a newly forming Focus Factory team, with strong visibility and the ability to shape processes, team structure, and performance from the ground up.SummaryThe Production Supervisor provides critical frontline leadership supporting Sheet Metal Forming and Machine Operations/Tube Fabrication departments. Reporting to the Focus Factory Manager, this role ensures effective supervision of associates, execution of daily production schedules, and adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong CNC and fabrication experience who can drive performance in a fast-paced, evolving environment.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise team leads and hourly production employees across fabrication and machining operationsCoordinate daily production activities to meet schedule, quality, and productivity targetsPromote and enforce safety standards and company policies on the production floorDevelop, implement, and audit standard work processesConduct root cause analysis and lead corrective actions for production issuesMonitor KPIs, analyze production data, and drive continuous improvement initiativesMaintain inventory control of raw materials within assigned departmentsCollaborate with supply chain, quality, and shipping teams to ensure production flowSupport hiring efforts including interviewing, onboarding, and team developmentTrack employee training and skills using a skills matrixManage timekeeping and attendance in ADPFoster a high-performance, accountable team environmentRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required; degree preferred for advancement2–3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentPrior hands-on experience as a machine operator strongly preferredExperience with CNC machining and sheet metal fabricationStrong knowledge of equipment such as:Press brakesSheet metal shearsPunch turretsT-drill machines (copper & stainless piping)Trans-fluid bending machines (copper and stainless steel)Strong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologiesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Experience in continuous improvement and process optimization
