Job Title: Senior Power Platform DeveloperJob Location: Houston, TXInterview: VirtualJob Duration: 6+ MonthsPrimary Responsibilities: Develop custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.Implement and maintain Power Platform solutions, ensuring they align with business needs.Ensure that solutions are secure, maintainable, and scalable.Collaborate with other IT teams and the Citizen Development Program to provide quality support and deliver solutions to end-users.Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation.Provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Configure systems by defining fields, views, and forms to meet specified requirements.Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications. Basic Requirements: Extensive experience with Power Platform tools and SharePoint Online.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.Familiarity with agile development methodologies and sprint planning.Leadership abilities to guide and mentor junior developers and citizen developers.Experience with Common Data Services, data connectors, and APIs.Knowledge of additional programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Preferred Requirements: Experience: At least 5 years of experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including mobile and offline capabilities.Certifications: Relevant certifications in Power Platform.Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience with cloud-native technologies.Experience in conducting code reviews.Experience working with virtual teams.Familiarity with other low-code platforms like Mendix.Experience with full-stack programming, such as . NET.Basic understanding of single sign-on technologies.Ability to provide and review estimates; strong preference for experience with Agile estimation and planning.Ability to create and review technical designs.Ability to quickly understand and analyze business processes, working closely with users, business analysts, and project managers.Capable of planning and executing tasks with minimal supervision.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, supporting both internal and external customers.Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments.Delivers results through realistic planning and goal accomplishment.Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely, ethical decisions.
