Title: Application Architect (Azure Cloud & Databricks)Duration: Long Term Location: Washington, DC 20433Hybrid Onsite: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon.Role OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Application Architect with a strong background in modern application development and cloud platforms, along with Hands-on experience in Databricks and Cloud native Application development.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and implement cloud-native and hybrid solutions using modern architectures.Act as a hands-on architect, contributing to design, development, and troubleshooting.Lead architecture for Databricks-based data platforms, including data pipelines and processing frameworks.Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.Define and maintain architecture standards, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.Collaborate with Agile teams and participate in sprint planning, design discussions, and reviews.Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, tools, and integration patterns.Support code reviews, performance tuning, and issue resolution.Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams.Required Qualifications10 years of overall IT experience, previous experience as Software developer preferably using .NetMinimum 2-3 years of Architecture experience Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (must-have)Experience with cloud platforms (Azure)Experience with data engineering, microservices, and APIsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsStrong problem-solving and communication skills“Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.”
