The Warehouse Associate is responsible for executing daily shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and organization. This role requires a hands-on individual who can balance physical warehouse responsibilities with system-based order and shipment processing activities.Key CharacteristicsDetail-OrientedReliableSafety MindedOrganizedDuties & ResponsibilitiesPick, pack, and stage orders accurately and efficientlyPrepare shipments and create shipping labels (UPS, FedEx, or similar systems)Operate a stand-up reach truck forklift to move, load, and organize inventoryReceive, inspect, and put away incoming materialsSupport inventory-related tasks, including counting and tracking stock as neededUpdate and maintain order and shipment information within ERP or warehouse systems to support accurate fulfillment and trackingMaintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safe working conditionsFollow all OSHA guidelines and company safety standardsQualificationsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to lift and move materials (up to 45 lbs) and remain on your feet throughout the shiftProficiency with ERP or warehouse systems (e.g., JD Edwards or similar) to support order processing and shipment activitiesStrong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environmentAbility to safely operate warehouse equipment, including a stand-up reach truck forkliftRequiredEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrior warehouse experience in a fast-paced environmentCurrent stand-up reach truck forklift certification with hands-on operating experience (Crown or similar equipment)Experience with picking, packing, and shipping processesExperience navigating ERP or warehouse systems to support order processing and shipment activitiesStrong communication skills and reliabilityPreferredExperience with UPS, FedEx, or similar shipping systemsAdditional inventory or warehouse systems experienceAdditional InformationAt Veolia, we realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build strongercommunities.
