Job Duties:Open or close the kitchen and operate equipment safelyPrepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelinesMonitor and record food temperatures to ensure safetySupervise dietary aides and maintain food quality standardsSet up hydration and hospitality cartsClean steam tables, prep areas, and kitchen equipmentWash pots and pans, sweep, and follow daily cleaning schedulesComplete pre-prep tasks for upcoming mealsQualifications:Must be able to read and write in EnglishAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsComfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environmentStrong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detailTeam-oriented with good communication skillsThe Avenue at Macedonia is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility offering a distinctive experience not commonly found in traditional care settings.
