Assisting with basic nursing care and providing safe and timely transport of patients, supplies, and equipment throughout the facility, this role allows for our health care services to run fluently and efficiently throughout the MultiCare facility. As a Transporter at MultiCare, you will collaborate with the entire nursing staff, hone your decision-making capacities, and enjoy daily variety and problem-solving opportunities.Responsibilities You will perform patient care as directed by RN/physicianYou will provide assistance to units by cleaning equipment and stocking suppliesPartner by implementing your service-oriented attitude, professional integrity, and solid decision-making capacitiesYou will effectively prioritize and apply organization and flexibility to your work dutiesRequirements Current Washington State CNA or MA licenseCurrent BLS CertificationOne (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferredAbout Allenmore Hospital MultiCare Allenmore Hospital has served Tacoma since 1929, offering convenient access to primary and specialty care services. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $22.64 - $34.46 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
