Chassis Dyno Technician

Job Title: Chassis Dyno TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team at our Allen Park Test Lab as a Chassis Dyno Technician. You will oversee the chassis dyno operations, managing the testing of 4-5 vehicles per shift. This role involves hands-on driving of vehicles on the chassis dyno and setting up exhaust equipment for emissions data collection.Responsibilities+ Conduct comprehensive vehicle tests on the chassis dynos.+ Operate the chassis dynamometer efficiently and accurately.+ Install exhaust equipment to vehicles for emissions data collection.+ Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth testing operations.Essential Skills+ 1+ years of experience in Dyno operations.+ Strong automotive technical aptitude, particularly in dyno operation.+ Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics and test system instrumentation.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Experience with Our Client CAN diagnostic and flashing tools such as the DET tool and Canalyzer is desirable.+ Strong technical writing skills.+ Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.+ Ability to present confidently to large groups.+ Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing requirements.+ Customer-focused communication skills.Work EnvironmentWork in a clean lab setting with the Dyno Team during 2nd and 3rd shifts (11:00pm - 7:30am & 3:00pm - 11:30pm). Flexibility in work schedule is preferred. This is a long-term, open-ended project with a significant increase in work demand expected at the lab.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Allen Park, MI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
