Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist | Full Time | Inpatient | On-siteChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist | Full Time | Inpatient | On-sitePosition Overview: We are seeking a full time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our inpatient hospital team in Wichita, Kansas. This full time, onsite role involves providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients aged 517. The position offers a supportive environment with a manageable caseload and no weekend or holiday requirements. Wichita, KansasKey Responsibilities:Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for a caseload of approximately 16 patients per day. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing staff and a Medical Staff Coordinator, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Manage caseload of 16 patients/day Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday. No on-call duties, weekends, or holidays required. Qualifications:Psychiatrist with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Kansas or the ability to obtain one. Active DEA registration in Kansas or eligibility to obtain.
