Commercial HVAC Journeyman

Job Description Position OverviewWe're looking for a skilled HVAC Journeyman with at least 4–8 years of experience. You'll lead installs, run small crews, and represent us well on-site with GCs and project leads. You're someone who shows up ready, owns their work, and keeps the job moving.Key ResponsibilitiesLead full-cycle commercial HVAC installations-from blueprint to final walkthroughInterpret mechanical plans and blueprints to plan layouts and execute work with precisionFabricate, install, and hang large commercial duct systems with minimal supervisionHandle refrigeration piping, charging, and equipment startups (RTUs, splits, VRF, etc.)Coordinate daily with PMs, GCs, and other trades to keep timelines tight and alignedSupervise small teams, mentor apprentices, and maintain a culture of accountabilityEnsure high-quality, code-compliant installs-no shortcuts, no callbacksUphold safety standards and lead by example on every jobsiteSolve field challenges quickly and professionally using experience and sound judgmentMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient worksite alwaysLow voltage thermostat wiringQualifications4–8 years of HVAC installation experienceProven ability to lead small teams and manage jobsite workflowStrong communication and accountabilityExcellent customer communication skillsProficient in reading install manuals, wiring diagrams, and layout plansHigh attention to detail and quality craftsmanshipEPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal)LEB Certification (preferred)Journeyman card from accredited trade school program or NATE CHP-5/Traditional (preferred)Valid driver's license and clean driving recordMust be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in crawl spaces or rooftopsCompensation & Benefits$34–$42 per hour based on experience and skillPerformance bonus eligible100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance covered by employerCompany truck + gas card401(k) with 4% company matchPaid holidays + PTOAdvancement opportunitiesCompany Description We don't cut corners.
