Assistant Toddler Teacher

Overview We are seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact on the early childhood development of our students. Duties - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of children - Create a safe and supportive classroom setting that encourages exploration and learning - Develop and follow a daily schedule that incorporates playtime, group activities, individual lessons, and rest time - Monitor and assess each child's progress to ensure developmental milestones are met - Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise - Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning Experience - Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or working with students in a classroom setting - Familiarity with early childhood education principles and childhood development stages - Knowledge of classroom management techniques tailored to preschool-aged children - Special education background or training is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: Teaching: 1 year (Preferred) Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Arabi, LA 70032: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
