This role focuses on partnering with technical and business teams to improve governance and spend visibility.About the OpportunityResponsibilities:Analyze and optimize AWS and Azure cloud consumption to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve resource utilization.Develop cloud cost reporting, forecasting, budgeting, showback, and chargeback processes with executive-level visibility into spend and savings.Monitor cloud spending trends and partner with engineering and application teams to implement FinOps best practices.Manage technology licensing and software asset optimization across enterprise platforms and maintain related processes and standards.Support vendor negotiations, renewals, true-ups, and software audits through licensing analysis and usage data.Qualifications:10+ years of IT experience, including 7+ years of hands-on experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, technology licensing, software asset management, or a related disciplineBachelor's degree in information technology, finance, computer science, or a related fieldHands-on experience managing AWS and Azure cloud costs in an enterprise environmentStrong understanding of AWS and Azure services, pricing models, billing structures, and cloud cost optimization techniquesExperience with cloud cost management tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, CloudHealth, Cloudability, Apptio, or FlexeraExperience managing enterprise software licensing programsExperience creating financial reports, forecasts, business cases, and cost optimization recommendationsWorking directly with engineering teams to implement cloud governance and optimization practicesDesired Skills:Industry certifications related to AWS or AzureAdvanced Excel, reporting, and financial modeling capabilitiesExperience with software compliance, audit management, and technology asset managementStrong analytical and data interpretation skillsAbility to translate technical consumption data into actionable financial recommendations
