Commercial Roofing Service Sales Representative

We remain committed to delivering expert craftsmanship, quality materials, and dependable service on every project.We are seeking a Service Sales Representative for our Reading, PA office.The Service Sales Representative will sell to new and existing clients and schedule sales appointments through self‑generated leads. This position will inspect roofs, estimate service needs, prepare scopes of work, and develop pricing and written proposals. This role reports directly to the President and Service Manager.Job FunctionsProspect via cold calls, emails, door‑to‑door visits, networking, and referralsActively participate in local organizations such as BOMA and IREM, including networking eventsSchedule sales appointments with key decision-makersBuild long-term business relationships with clientsConduct site inspections and partner with clients to identify needsPresent appropriate roofing service solutionsPrepare proposals and estimates using blueprints, specifications, field notes, and on‑site inspectionsMaintain accurate sales logs and submit documentation in a timely mannerFollow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and secure referralsSell commercial roof systems, including coatings (acrylic & silicone) and roof safety systemsRequirementsHigh school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred3+ years of experience in commercial roofing sales/estimating (preferred) or construction estimating and salesProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and ProjectAbility to prepare bids using Excel and estimating softwareUnderstanding of basic accounting principlesAbility to perform take-offs and core cuts as neededAbility to climb ladders, walk roofs, and work at heightsOSHA 30 or OSHA 10Clean driving record. Salary starts at $65,000, depending on experience, with additional earnings through our performance‑based pay structure.
