IT Engineer

We are seeking a IT Systems Engineer who brings an automation-first mindset to support the day-to-day operations of our IT environment. This role will focus on managing user access, supporting SaaS platforms, executing system updates, and maintaining technical documentation across multiple systems.This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who enjoys solving technical problems, improving operational processes, and working with modern cloud-based tools.Role OverviewThe IT team is focused on delivering a reliable and efficient technology experience for employees across the organization. We work closely with teams throughout the business to troubleshoot issues, improve workflows, and implement tools that help the company operate more effectively.This position will provide exposure to several areas of IT operations including Identity and Access Management, cloud platforms, scripting, security practices, and technical documentation. The role requires a hands-on approach to supporting systems while also identifying opportunities to automate routine tasks and improve processes.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport user access management across platforms including Okta, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Slack, and Google Cloud PlatformCarry out standard IT service requests and operational changes such as provisioning access, updating configurations, and modifying system settingsMaintain accurate documentation related to system configurations, user access, and operational proceduresAssist with developing and maintaining IT standard operating procedures (SOPs)Participate in coordinating and supporting internal IT initiatives and projectsMonitor key IT platforms and report potential issues, risks, or system alertsContribute to initiatives that strengthen the organization’s security postureProvide Tier 1 IT engineering support and escalate issues to senior engineers when necessaryQualifications2–3 years of experience in an IT support, systems administration, or engineering role, or equivalent technical trainingFamiliarity with cloud platforms and SaaS-based applicationsStrong written communication and documentation skillsExperience assisting with projects or operational initiativesInterest in or exposure to automation tools and AI technologies within enterprise environmentsBasic scripting experience in languages such as PythonUnderstanding of basic IT security, governance, and compliance concepts
