Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including tables, bar, and service stations Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and resetting dining areas for new guests Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements Demonstrate extensive beverage knowledge including spirits, wine pairings, cocktail recipes, and drink service techniques Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience Requirements Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred; fine dining experience is a plus but not required. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and guest-focused attitude Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential Join our team where your enthusiasm for hospitality will shine!
