For salary and transfer information, contact Human Resources.The following noninstructional vacancy is listed in the Human Resources Department for the 2025-2026 school year.POSITION: Student Data Help Desk SpecialistLOCATION: Instructional Technology and Information Services / County OfficeANNUAL EMPLOYMENT: Twelve Months (260 Days)/8 Hours DailySALARY RANGE: $51,646.40 - $54,392.00(While in effect, additional compensation from the Millage initiative will be awarded annually. For the 2025-26 school year, the amount for this position is $8,128 and will be prorated from July 1, 2025.) Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years' experience using a computer database application (student, finance, payroll, etc.) or one (1) school year of experience using a current student information system. Training necessary to assure ability to deliver technical training and support.Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesKnowledge of fundamental systems in use throughout the District. Demonstrated knowledge in computer operation and basic customer support troubleshooting procedures. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Effective oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to train and support others.Performance Responsibilities (1) Support school level personnel to ensure accurate reporting of student data. (2) Perform data entry tasks for home education and virtual school programs. Assist with training outlines and activities for the student information system. (4) Act as first-line contact for student information system problems or questions. (5) Assist with addressing and resolving help desk tickets. (6) Remain current on state reporting guidelines. (7) Support school and district personnel with all aspects of the student information system (ex. enrollment, scheduling, attendance, discipline, grades, progress reports, report cards, transcripts, assessments, reports).(8) Participate in training sessions, conferences, and workshops to keep abreast of current practices, programs, and legal issues.(9) Support and assist outside agencies (Take Stock in Children, Family Support Services, Boys & Girls Clubs, Big Brothers Big Sisters) with student information as appropriate.(10) Assist with data and submission for district level programs (ex. McKay Scholarship, Family Empowerment Scholarship, Bright Futures, Talented Twenty, FLEID, DHSMV, FASTER). Maintain long term retention of records to provide an auditable trail of District activities. Assist with the development of new reports and processes.
