This role focuses on building and maintaining Kubernetes-based platforms and developing scalable, reliable data-driven applications.The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience developing applications for Kubernetes environments, working with modern databases, and supporting platform automation in highly regulated settings.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain containerized applications deployed on Kubernetes platformsDevelop and optimize applications utilizing ArangoDB and PostgreSQLCreate, maintain, and manage Helm charts for application deployment and configurationSupport application packaging, versioning, and release management processesCollaborate with platform, infrastructure, and security teams to support system requirementsImplement best practices for scalability, reliability, and performanceTroubleshoot application, database, and deployment issues in distributed environmentsSupport continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelinesParticipate in system accreditation, compliance, and audit activitiesDocument system designs, configurations, and operational proceduresRequired QualificationsTS/SCI clearanceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Entry level to 10+ years of experience in software or platform development rolesHands-on experience developing applications for Kubernetes environmentsExperience working with ArangoDB and/or PostgreSQLExperience writing and maintaining Helm chartsStrong understanding of containerization and microservices architecturesExperience with Git-based version control systemsAbility to operate in secure, compliance-driven environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience developing distributed or data-intensive applicationsFamiliarity with service mesh or advanced Kubernetes networking conceptsExperience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programsExperience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworksFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code toolsExperience with performance tuning and database optimizationExperience working in hybrid or air-gapped environments
