Electrical Project Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer Location: Denver, Colorado Type: 12 month Contract Compensation: $75.00 - $78.50 per hour Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote Responsibilities Oversee and contribute to large-scale dispatchable projects such as combustion turbines. Provide electrical expertise, focusing on evaluating project drawings and handling RFIs across multiple projects. Support project activities related to large projects near Mead, CO. Requirements 9+ years of electrical engineering experience 3+ years specifically in the dispatchable generation project space (construction or engineering design) Willing to travel to the site as needed Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited school or strong/commensurate experience Strong written and verbal communication skills along with analytical skills to resolve questions, troubleshoot design conflicts, etc. Knowledge of/Familiarity with NCRs, RFIs, and the ability to understand and manage the scope of a contract Experience working with utilities or design firms on dispatchable technologies, especially large-frame combustion turbines System One is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
