DescriptionAssistant VMI BuyerPurpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for an Assistant VMI Buyer JBS that supports the procurement team with entry of purchase orders into SAP and maintaining costs for all divisions. The position is located at our Mason, Ohio plant.Responsibilities:Input all purchase orders into plant MRP system accurately and on timeManage costing in OLP to ensure proper billing to storesRun and review key reports, communicate risks related items to customerMonitor & track customer store pulls to ensure 100% fill rateWill be trained to be a backup and cover buyer responsibilities when off or on vacationResponsible for keeping KLN List updated and resolving issues in MRPMay assume other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Must have inventory control experienceAbility to speak, read, and write EnglishGood verbal and written communication skillsGood math skillsMust be well-organized with good attention to detailDisplay strong work ethics and positive attitudeAdaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with othersMust maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearanceAbility to apply logic and understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, instructions and to deal with problems involving a few different variables.Must be willing to work weekends.Can perform the functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodationAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
