CFD Engineer

Role Description: This is an on-site CFD Engineer contract role based in Berkeley, CA. The CFD Engineer will perform computational fluid dynamics simulations to analyze fluid flow, heat transfer, and aerodynamic performance for engineering systems and components. Responsibilities include setting up and validating simulation models, generating high-quality meshes, running parametric studies, and interpreting results to provide clear design recommendations. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, documenting methods and findings, and supporting optimization of designs based on thermal and fluid behavior. The CFD Engineer will also contribute to process improvement, best practices, and technical reviews to ensure accurate, reliable, and efficient simulation workflows.
