Service Technician - Automated Parking SystemsTrueline is seeking a Service Technician to join their field service team supporting automated parking and mechanical automation systems across the Tri-State region (NY, NJ, CT). This hands-on role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced automated parking technology and offers strong training, overtime potential, and long-term career stability.What You'll Do as the Service Technician:Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on automated and semi-automated parking systemsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues within automated equipmentService Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS)Work with mechanical assemblies, hydraulic systems, motors, and electrical componentsSupport installation, system startup, and commissioning of new automation equipmentDiagnose equipment failures and perform corrective repairs in the fieldDocument service activities and maintenance work using a CMMS systemFollow OSHA safety procedures including proper Lockout/Tagout practicesCommunicate findings, service updates, and repair recommendations to customers on-siteService Technician Requirements:Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or millwright maintenance experienceAbility to troubleshoot industrial equipment or automated machineryValid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites across the Tri-State areaStrong mechanical aptitude and interest in working with automation systemsComfortable working in field service environmentsAbility to follow safety protocols and work independently at customer locationsNice-to-Haves as the Service Technician (not required):Spanish and English bilingual skillsExperience with automated systems such as AGVs, AS/RS, conveyors, or roboticsExposure to PLC-controlled equipmentExperience operating forklifts or scissor liftsOSHA safety certifications, including OSHA 30 or NYC Site Safety TrainingWe Offer:Hourly pay of $30-$40 + OT depending on experienceOvertime opportunitiesHealthcare benefits401(k) with employer contributionPaid vacationCompany vehicle provided after training and onboardingSpecialized technical training in automated parking systemsLong-term stability within a niche and growing automation industryTrueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
