Pain Management Physician Assistant
Advanced Spine and Pain Centers is seeking a certified Physician Assistant for our Delaware/Virginia/ Maryland offices.Candidates with previous experience in pain management and/or orthopedics are highly desirable.Physician Assistant Requirements: must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program with current license to practice in the State of Delaware/Virginia/ Maryland.Advanced Spine and Pain Centers provides a competitive salary and benefits package. Please forward resume for consideration.The Pain Management Physician Assistant duties include but not limited to:Conduct thorough physical examination of patients presenting with pain-related concerns;Reviewing Patient's Medical HistoryAdminister and monitor medication management for pain relief, following established protocols and guidelines;Consulting with other providers before deciding on a therapy or treatment program to help patients manage their pain;Using knowledge and pain management skills to find effective non-invasive treatment options;Performing joint injections;Provide patient education on pian management techniques, lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies;Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients;Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of pain management through continuous learning and professional development.QualificationsActive DE/VA/MD license;Previous experience in the field of pain management is preferred;Excellent clinical skills, including physical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.Ability to work independently and take initiative, demonstrating a high level of autonomy in decision-making.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care, with a focus on improving the quality of life for individuals living with chronic pain.Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
