Process Engineer

Process design, Chemical plant design, PFD, P&ID, Plant engineering, Chemical Engineer. • Should have worked as a Process Engineer for industrial plants (Chemical, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Fine chemicals, Specialty chemicals, Food & Beverages) • Work experience in Surfactant making plant would be more preferred. • Ability to prepare and understand PFD, P&IDs, mass & energy balance calculation, hydraulic calculations • Understand basic chemical engineering fundamentals like heat transfer, fluid mechanics, solid handling, mass transfer etc. • Should be able to specify process plant equipment and hands on experience in selection of equipment as per project requirement • Powder handling equipment sizing and design experience is an added advantage • Should be able to specify pump, heat exchanger, tank and other equipment independently • Experience in selection of safety devices and process safety management activities • Previous work experience in sanitary piping & process systems would be a plus • Conversant with MS office application is must • Familiarity in working in AutoCAD will be added advantage. • Familiarity with AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow and any other hydraulic calculation software will be added advantage Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: Chemical plant design, PFD, P&ID: 5 years (Preferred) Process design: 5 years (Preferred) Chemical,Fine chemicals, Specialty chemicals: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
