Responsibilities: - Take care of one client one on one in the comfort of their home. - Assist client with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Provide assistance with mobility and transfers - Help with light meal preparation and feeding - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor - Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Trained to use a Hoyer Lift - Certified to administer Medications - Previous experience as a personal care assistant or similar role is preferred - Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients - Empathy and compassion for individuals requiring personal care assistance - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and procedures Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
