Health Advocates Network is seeking a **Licensed Practical Nurse** to work at a Correctional Facility in **Mitchells, Virginia** . This is a registry position with our company.**Pay Rate** : $36 / hour*W2**Shift Details:**+ Days 8a-8:30p**Minimum Qualifications:**+ **At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse**+ Must have up to date credentials in the state of **Virginia**+ A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)+ Ability to build rapport with patients+ Compassionate and caring demeanor+ Familiarity with medical terminology+ Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. LPN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.**Job Responsibilities:**+ Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients+ Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior+ Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care+ Maintain accurate patient medical records+ Provide companionship and basic care to patients+ Administer prescribed medications to patientsIf interested, please apply through this job post.
