How you'll contribute A Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who excels in this role: Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function. Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary. Monitors patient's responses to treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to physical therapist. Documents services provided and patient response/progress. Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Assists with patient discharge planning. What we're looking for Applicants must have an Associate's degree and be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Additional requirements include: Current and Valid PTA license in the state where services are rendered.
