14530Title: Maintenance TechnicianPay Rate: $30-32/HR on W2Hours: M-F 8:30am - 5pm - possible OTLocation: 450 East 29th Street, New York , NYOverview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:Pharmaceutical R&DProper PPE will be required and will vary depending on where they are in the labAll PPE will be providedSafety Trainings will need to be completed during trainingLicenses/Certifications: FDNY COF: G46, G79 or willingness to obtain.Job Description:Maintenance Tech• Maintenance of safety equipment – fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, emergency showers, etc.• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.• Back up for LIS where needed.• Any other duties as assigned.• FDNY COF: G46, G79 or willingness to obtain.• Life Science/Lab experience preferred but not required.Must Have Skills:General maintenance skillsBasic HVAC skillsNice to have skills:Life Science/Lab experience preferred but not requiredYears of Experience: 3-5 yearsEducationh.s. diploma or GED, trade school preferredSoftware skills:Basic computer skillsInterview Process:Parking notes:Preferred on-site, but depending on H.M. schedule, they may request a virtual interview
