Chief People Officer

As the Chief People Officer, you will provide executive-level leadership and guidance for the organization's people strategy and operations. This role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of business strategy and the ability to translate organizational goals into effective people strategies. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this role will partner with the executive leadership team to ensure that the organization has the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.This role oversees all aspects of human resources in our US offices, including talent acquisition, employee experience, belonging and wellbeing, leadership and succession planning, learning and performance, organizational development, compensation/benefits, compliance, and human resource information systems (HRIS). They will lead a small team of cross-functional professionals to ensure HR-related programs tie to overarching business goals.The ideal candidate can toggle between thinking broadly/strategically and diving into execution. This individual should have experience working with a growing organization and driving efforts including mergers and acquisitions, building/enhancing strong and positive company cultures, and designing scalable HR solutions that support growth.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing strategic HR counsel on critical business decisions.Talent Acquisition and Development: Oversee the full talent lifecycle, from attracting top talent to developing future leaders. Implement innovative strategies to build a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive workforce.Employee Experience: Foster a positive and engaging work environment that empowers employees to thrive. Drive initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, belonging and wellbeing, and overall experience.Organizational Change: Lead organizational change and transformation initiatives. Design and implement effective succession planning, performance management, and career development programs.HR Operations Excellence: Oversee HR operations, including compensation and benefits, HRIS, and compliance. Ensure efficient and effective delivery of HR services across the organization.M&A Integration: Lead HR due diligence and integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring a seamless transition for employees and systems.Education and ExpertiseProven track record of leading HR functions in a high-growth organizationExperience interfacing with a Board of directors and/or Compensation Committees10+ years of HR/OD experienceBachelor's degree in a related field, Master's preferredExperience working with Private EquityExperience working in the Renewable Energy/Energy industry a plusSkills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesStrong leadership skillsStrong business acumen and ability to support business strategies with effective HR solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levelsExperience driving organizational change and leading teams through periods of growthStrong problem solving skills with the ability to mediate and resolve conflictsCommitment to creating a positive and inclusive workplaceStrong understanding of HR best practices, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Succession Planning, Employee Relations, Benefits, Compensation and BenefitsKnowledge of Employment related laws, regulations and compliance issuesKnowledge and experience with automating HR functions through HRIS, ATS and AIMerger and Acquisition experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
