We’re excited to find individuals who are eager to be part of a team that’s driving global impact through innovation, sustainability, and purpose.Location: 715 Fountain Avenue, Lancaster, PA 176012nd shiftWe are seeking a dependable and small line floater operator to support our manufacturing operations by operating multiple machines and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products in a safe and efficient manner.This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where you will work both independently and as part of a larger team. In addition to machine operation, you will help support training, maintain quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Operations (40%)Operate department equipment including mixing, extruding, and grinding systems with minimal supervisionSupport production during shift changes, breaks, and team absencesAssist with equipment cleaning and operate smaller auxiliary machinery as neededMeet production deadlines while maintaining safety and efficiencyQuality & Process Control (20%)Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing processEnsure adherence to all quality standards, Standard Work, and 6S practicesPartner with supervisors and team members to maintain consistent outputMaterial Handling (20%)Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished goodsFollow all safety procedures related to powered industrial equipmentMaintenance & Housekeeping (10%)Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentPerform basic preventive maintenance and report equipment issues promptlyEnsure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintainedAdditional Responsibilities (10%)Enter and review production data and work orders in systemCross-train within the department to support operational needsParticipate in safety, production, and company meetingsAssist with SOP development and production documentationQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required (or equivalent experience)1+ year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred1+ year of forklift experience requiredAbility to learn operation of all department equipment within 6 monthsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentBasic math skills and understanding of measurementsComfortable with computers and data entry (ERP experience a plus)Safety-focused with the ability to follow procedures and policiesWillingness to work overtime as neededAbility to wear PPE, including masks, and work at heights when requiredWhat We Offer YouCompetitive medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance coverage401k with a company matchPTO Hours are accrued from Day 1Tuition reimbursementOpportunities for development and internal promotionsTwo minute walk to eco-friendly public transportation from rabbittransitSometimes the best jobs get missed because people think they don’t have what it takes.
